For most computer resellers, 'customisation' means upgrading the HDD or RAM capacity of a standard off the shelf product.

At Opentec, 'customisation' means creating bespoke hardware to address a specific application. Not a mere Commercial Off The Shelf or Military Off The Shelf product, but anything from a modified housing with custom ports, to a fully custom designed enclosure, we've been creating custom hardware for more than 15 years. 

From embedded third party'' supplied electronics (eg avionics management systems) to custom housings for inadequately ruggedised sub-systems that need ruggedising to a specific level for a specific application, we have the design and manufacturing competencies simply not available from any other ruged computer supplier in Australia.

We can even test custom products for emissions compliance, as well as environmental and durability suitability.
