Opentec partners with NRMA CareFlight
In 2001, the NRMA CareFlight helicopter rescue team worked with Opentec to integrate an Openfire RPT tablet computer into their Sydney-based helicopter, as part of their airborne guidance system.
"The company had a good understanding of our requirement and helped integrate the Openfire Rugged Portable into our difficult environment," noted Ian Badham, Executuve Director of Careflight.
"We use the Openfire Series Rugged Portable Computer in our helicopters for Automated Position mapping. It performs well in all conditions and takes the knocks that are inevitable in our day to day duties."
