FLEXkit Unmanned Vehicle Control System launched:

What if you could replace up to 32kgs of control equipment for each unmanned robotics system you needed to deploy, with a single solutions weiging less than 8kgs?

In collaboration with our US partner developer, Opentec has released a battlefield-proven Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UMGV) control system called FLEXkit.

FLEXkit is a robotic system control solution that replaces separate radios, antennae, amplifiers and cabling required for separate UMGVs or marine remote operable devices, with a single, device-specific Operator Control Unit (OCU) called a Remote Control Module (RCM).

The primary benefit is that an RCM loads directly into an Openfire RPC Rugged Portable Computer, making the entire control system both compact and rugged. Best of all, one computer can control multiple robotic devices, thus greatly simplifying logistics, field servicing and training.
