As a reflection of our status as an endorsed supplier of rugged portable computers to the Australian Defence Forces, Opentec will be amongst more than a dozen major vendors, including Thales and Austal Ships, at this years event.
"IDEX is more than the world's largest defence suppliers exhibition. It's a significant opportunity to show how Australian innovation is creating best-of-breed solutions for a range of applicatios," says opentec General Manager, Bruce Lehmann.
"Perhaps more significant is the fact that we will be the only vendor show-casing rugged portable computers. Included will be our new Win Mobile 2005 OS rugged PDAs, the RPDA-V, and a range of PDA clip-on modules, including a 1D and 2D type barcode scanner, an RFID scanner with GPS antenna, and a digital compass with GPS antenna. These are products with an immense range of applications, both within defence and within commercial applications. We're looking forward to this event enormously."
