New Mobile 6 'RPDA 6' now with 3G:
The market-leading RPDA Series 'Super Rugged' Personal Data Assistant (PDA) is now available with Windows Mobile 6 operating system, as well as 3G/3.5G (UMTS/HSDPA) phone/data capability.
The new series RPDA 6 also features a 4" daylight readable 'ultra-rugged' ULTRAtm touchscreen, designed to resist years of scratching and abrasion, which can render touchscreens hard to read, or inoperable. This same 'near ballistics grade' semi-flexible glass material is also used on our RPT 8 'Super Rugged' UMPC and RPT 12 'Super Rugged' tablet computers. The new touchscreen also offers better high temperature operation (rated to 75C) while delivering 75NIT output.
Also available is an 'EP' (Extended Performance) variant, with a higher IP67 dust and moisture ingress protection rating (versus the standard model's IP65 rating) for applications where extremes of dust and moisture are likely to be encountered.
With optional WiFi, Bluetooth, CE.net 5 operating system, 12 channel NEMA GPS, digital compass/pitch meter (with offset correction feature), integrated 2 Megapixel camera (with high-brightness, twin flash LEDs), and a double thickness battery for extended field use, it's a proven durable design that's been enhanced to deliver even better performance and ROI.
Yet despite this impressive line-up of features, the RPDA 6 remains one of the most competitively priced, professional grade, Super Rugged PDAs on the market, as well as one of the most compact.
