Ultra-Rugged ULTRAtm touchscreens add to Opentec's durability:
As if they weren't already rugged enough, we've upgraded our RPDA 6 Super Rugged PDAs, and RPT 8 and RPT 12 Super Rugged Tablets to include the Interelectronix 'ULTRA' ultra-rugged touchscreen.
Now, all -M (military spec'd) RPT8 Series and RPT 12 Series tablets come with the ULTRA touchscreen as standard, with this being an option on the -I (Industrial/Commercial) grade models.
The ULTRA touchscreen is, though, standard on the entire range of RPDA 6 Super Rugged Personal Data Assistants (-I and -M models).
With the touchscreen being potentially one of the weakest components of a touch-enabled device, the ULTRA adds greatly to the performance of our products, increasing touchscreen life expectancy significantly (up to 600%, based on Interelectronix data).
