For most computer resellers, 'customisation' means upgrading the HDD or RAM capacity of a standard off the shelf product.

At Opentec, 'customisation' means more: from not just configuring products with a range of off the shelf options, to customising a product's chassis to include additional ports or customised power connectors.

But because we're an engineering company, our 'custom' capabilities extend to creating custom made housings for specific applications, to completely new products, engineered from the ground up. From embedding third party supplied electronics (eg avionics management systems) into notebooks, to custom housings for non-ruggedised sub-systems (such as office grade WiFi modules), we have the industrial design, electronics engineering and manufacturing competencies that no other supplier in Australia can match.
