Opentec RPT 12 Series
Super Rugged Tablet PC

This is a true tablet, designed to be hand-held or vehicle mounted. It's not a convertible notebook with a swivel screen so avoids the inherent weakness of such designs. Now with ULTRA 'ultra-rugged' touchscreens, the RPT 12 is the most rugged tablet you'll find.

Product Overview

For users who find an 8.4" LCD too small and who aren't looking for a unit that will be carried by had for extended periods, and who need greater processing power, the 12.1" RPT 12 Series delivers everything the RPT 8 is renowned for but with a larger LCD and a Core 2 Duo 1.66GHz CPU.

All the standard features are tehre: hard drive capacities up to 350Gb, optional very-high-impact-resistant SSDs (flash drives), long life, compact Li Ion battery packs, as well as an optional second (rear mounted) battery for extended field life, and optional 500NIT LED backlit LCDs for easy viewability in full summer sun. Also available is the and optional ULTRA 'ultra-rugged' touchscreen (standard on -M models) which adds significantly to the durability of the touchscreen.

Like the RPT 8, it has a fan-less Magnesium-alloy chassis far exceeds MIL-STD 810F (durability) and MIL-STD 416E (emissions) requirements. Also like the RPT 8, options include GPS,  Bluetooth and WiFi, a DockLite docking station/port replicator, and desktop or vehicle/boat mounting systems.
