'19/2 System' Architecture

Individual elements are simply added as required, with components able to be bulkhead/surface mounted using the bulkhead brackets, or rack mounted into any standard fixed or portable 19" frame.

The simple component interlock mechanism allows  components to be quickly bolted together then mounted as required; with all components then being cabled using standard cabling elements.  By using a standard 19" rack format and standard I/Os, a system can be assembled quickly with minimal training - and nothing more than a screw driver and the appropriate interconnect cables.

With no component heavier than 3kg, or deeper than 340mm, or higher than 1RU (44mm), it's ideal for applications where space is at a premium and weight reductions are required.

And because it's rugged AND modular, it's a perfect solution for defence or security forces on the move. Better still, it's a proven system that's in active service with a range of customers, including:

  • For military vehicle mounted applications:
    - Ministry of Defence, Sweden
    - Ministry of Defence, Norway
    - Patria (Finland)
    - Lockheed Martin
  • For field deployable network applications:
    - EADS (UK)
    - SSM (Swedish Radiation Authority)
  • For airborne network applications:
    - SAAB (Sweden)
    - Ministry of Defence, Norway
