Key Features:
The 10.4" Jackaroo is designed for applications where remote connectivity is required (via 3.5H/3.75G, WiFi) and and where harsher environments will be encountered, meaning a lighter duty tablet (such as the Drover) might not be auitable.
Typical applications for the 1.06GHz Core 2 Duo powered Jackeroo include:
- 'In-field' data collection
(eg GIS database development, geotagging, mapping) - Remote monitoring
.... or any 'thick client' application where on-board data processing requirements are heavier, and cellular (HSDPA/UMTS) connectivity is required.
Typical applications for the 1.5GHz ULV (ultra low voltage) Via Eden powered Jackaroo 'Lite' include:
- POS (Point Of Sale)
- Warehouse inventory management
- machinery control
.... or any 'thin client' application where on-board data processing requirements are not very heavy, and wireless (WiFi) connectivity is required.
Both models feature all the standard features: hard drive capacities up to 320Gb; optional very-high-impact-resistant SSDs (flash drives) with up to 128Gb capacity; long life integrated (non-removable) Li Ion batteries; and optional 400NIT LED backlit LCDs for easy viewability in full summer sun.
Like the RPT tablet range, it has a fan-less Magnesium-alloy chassis that exceeds MIL-STD 810F (durability) requirements, as well as offers options such as GPS, a DockLite vehicle docking station/port replicator, and desktop or vehicle/boat mounting systems.
