The RPT 8-I delivers everything you'd expect of a compact tablet PC/UMPC. It features a compact and lightweight Magnesium Alloy housing with a fanless design that optimises battery life and durability in the most compact format possible. With an energy efficient 1.06GHz ULV Core 2 Duo CPU, hard drive capacities up to 350Gb, optional very-high-impact-resistant SSDs (flash drives), long life, compact Li Ion battery packs, as well as an optional second (rear mounted) battery packs for extended field life, and optional 500NIT LED backlit LCDs for easy viewability in full summer sun, these are true workhorses with an enviable service history.

Now with an optional ULTRA 'ultra-rugged' touchscreen, the RPT 8-I is a highly modular design with options including a compact port replicator/docking station for vehicle mount applications, GPS,  Bluetooth and WiFi, LCD sunshades and protective synthetic rubber sleeves.
