Overview:

The Opentec RPT 7 is a ‘Fully Rugged’ rated Ultra-Mobile PC (UMPC, or ‘handheld’) device suitable for truly mobile applications. With a compact design and weighing only 1.1kg, it’s designed to withstand the sorts of shocks, spills and levels of moisture you’re likely to experience in a wide range of vehicle-based, industrial or outdoor (e.g., field service or mining) applications.

Powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU with 2Gb RAM and featuring a 120Gb HDD (Hard Disc Drive) (or optional SSD Solid State Drive) and 7” daylight readable WSVGA touchscreen LCD, it comes with a host of standard features such as WiFi, Bluetooth and in-built camera, plus options including WWAN (3G), GPS, barcode and RFID scanners. The optional high capacity batteries deliver up to 8-hours-plus battery life, making it ideal for extended use away from mains power.
