Overview

The newly released Opentec IPT 7 is a miniature tablet (or UMPC) that delivers a range of features. Powered by a1.0GHz VIA Eden CPU and with an optional 400NIT daylight readable LCD, it's in an amazingly compact yet durable package offering long battery life (typically better than 3 hours on a single charge) for users on the move.

With a 7" widescreen touch-enabled LCD and in-built WiFi and Bluetooth, it's ideal for a range of thin client applications in the workplace, or stand-alone applications in vehicle or field roles. An optional desktop docking station plus a range of vehicle mounting solutions add to its flexibility.

At just over 1.1kg in weight, and at 16cm in height and less than 3.5cm thick, it delivers easier screen viewability than a 5" UMPC, yet in a compact and light weight format.
