EMC Compliance

Ultra-low MIL-STD461E emissions for superior EM immunityAussie engineering know how delivering world class performance

As just another example of our engineering capabilites, Opentec can offer independently certified low EM notebooks and tablets, suitable for use in 'Electronic Warfare" applications, where data security and immunity to interference are critical issues.

Some rugged notebook and tablet suppliers claim to not only have truly rugged hardware; they even make claims regarding compliance to the very stringent, and very hard to meet, MIL-STD461E emissions and immunity standard.

BEWARE! Are they offering "461 Navy" or "461E Ground Army" compliance? THEY ARE NOT THE SAME! And what sections of the 461 standard are they offering compliance to, if to "Ground Army"?

The simple fact is, some local suppliers have tried and failed to deliver fully "461 Ground Army" compliant product! That's just another reason Opentec continues to be a preferred Australian Department of Defence supplier.
