Defining 'Military Rugged'

If claiming to be MIL-STD 810G isn't even a guarantee that a product is suitable for a defence combati role, let alone a field support role, how do you know that a product is genuinely MILITARY RUGGED, that is, fit for use in a Military role?

The standards listed below define the base level requirements for any product we supply to defence forces.
